Umm, notice to everyone: the Bengals are for real. Ow … I swear, I spent most Saturday afternoons when I was growing up watching Hometime, This Old House and the like (at least until I got cable in my room), thinking how cool it would be to do construction work. The President of Toledo City Council, Louis Escobar, is also the director of the Multicultural Centre here on campus. I was in his on-campus office earlier today to talk to him about securing funding to get Margaret Cho on campus in the spring (which may be the cornerstone of all I get done for Spectrum this year), and I couldn’t help but notice that his office on campus is smaller than the Spectrum office.
