I always liked your jalapeño mood,
And your little narcissistic streak;
So self-important, selfish, downright rude
To those you thought were ugly, dense or meek.
It was so charming, seeing you enraged,
The flames of Hades flushing out your face.
Your wrath would lash out like a lynx uncaged,
And put the lesser creatures in their place.
Indeed, your lack of patience made me swoon
As people cowered at your crimson gaze.
They'd cringe at all the sophistries you'd croon,
Aghast at all their weaknesses you'd raise.
If only I could be you for a day
And know the bliss of your naiveté.
