Chik Parmesan Sandwich

Time to cook: 20 minutes
Yield: 1 sandwich

Ingredients:
1 Morningstar Farms Chik Pattie (Original)
2 Tbsp. pizza sauce (I use Ragu Pizza Quick Traditional flavour)
1 kaiser roll (I use Nickles Deli style)
½ oz.* low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese (I use Kroger brand)
Crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
* This is for ver. J as dictated on my diet log; for ver. I, double the amount of cheese.

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the Chik Pattie on a cookie sheet and cook for nine minutes; grate the cheese while the pattie is cooking. At that point take the cookie sheet out of the oven, flip the Chik Pattie over, spoon on the pizza sauce and sprinkle on the red pepper flakes and cheese. Place back in the oven and cook for another nine minutes or until done. Place the Chik Pattie in the kaiser roll and serve immediately. Hint: If you have a non-stick cookie sheet, you can sprinkle some of the cheese on the cookie sheet, and it will set up while cooking, and you can scrape this off and add it to the sandwich to give the Chik Pattie a slight resemblance of something fried.
