.photography update

New in .photography: Early spring colours at the Toledo Botanical Garden.  I shot these photos during my trip there yesterday, right in between a cold snap and a heat wave when the temperature was just right, the sun was shining, the breeze was deliciously cool, and I had to deal with a lot of people there.  I still think I got a pretty good set of photos, though.  As always, feedback is appreciated.

.journal update

New in the .journal: Climbing the mountain.  After finishing the first draft of my first novel yesterday, I thought it was important to look back at my writing and see how far I’ve come, while still recognizing all the hard work I still have to do just for this one project alone.  Believe me, I have a lot of work still to do, but after completing such a huge step, it’s hard not to take a step back and appreciate how far I’ve come.

New Digs

Spring Migration

This will be the 1,934th post to my blog since I started blogging back in 2001. It will also be the last post, for the .org anyway, made using Blogger. Earlier this year, Google, which picked up Blogger several years ago, announced that they were discontinuing FTP service for Blogger.
