Wildwood 2008.10.23

Strange to relate, I hadn’t taken photographs at Wildwood for nearly five years before this set. Back when I started the .org it seemed like I was always going to Wildwood, so I made an effort to go to other places like Swan Creek and the Toledo Botanical Garden. After I finished my undergraduate career and moved on to grad school (and later the job market), I haven’t taken photos as much as I would like to. I hope that this will be the first of a lot of sets over the coming months as I try to get out more often and get more photos on the .org.

These shots are from the Orange/Prairie Trail. I would have gotten better shots if I’d gone the previous weekend; the leaves were a bit too withered for my liking when I got there. I also didn’t have as much sun to work with as I would have liked, but I still thought I was able to use the sun and sunlight effectively, plus I finally got some shots of deer. All in all I’m kind of happy with the set. Now if only I can start producing these sets more oftena

I haven’t edited these photos down any, except to reduce them in size, rotate them (when necessary), and sharpen them after reduction. As always, if you want the originals (taken at 2048 × 1536 resolution), e-mail me at (my first name)@(myfirstname)(mylastname).org.
