The last name Cloete is not pronounced "KLOH-eh-teh;" it is pronounced "KLOO-tee," with a soft t.
(Cloete is my brother-in-law's last name, so Keith's mispronunciation tonight really irked me.)
Back when Wayne Fontes coached the Detroit Lions, he hired his brother Len as an assistant coach.
Wayne's last name was pronounced "fonts"
Len, Wayne's own brother's last name, was pronounced "fon-TEZ"
Different people have different ways that they want their name pronounced. Do you have any proof that Olbermann was incorrect besides that it is different than that of your brother-in-law?
