For all of the sports-related deaths that have made headlines these past few years, I certainly never expected them to hit so close to home. I'm especially surprised to have this happen in basketball, since all the deaths I can recall hearing about were in football and usually related to practicing outdoors in super-hot weather.

It goes without saying, but my thoughts, along with those of everyone else at UT, are with Haris Charalambous' family right now in their time of grief.
