Pathetic.

I was without Internet access here at the house all day yesterday and up until around noon today. Over twenty-four hours of outage is enough to make a request for a refund from the provider reasonable, right?

Keep in mind here that the family business is operated from here as well, which kind of trumps the "importance" of anything I might have done online yesterday. Still, given that the Internet is the only way I can communicate with most of my friends due to distance and phone-shyness issues, and I've already had huge loneliness issues this break, a day without my usual checking up on said friends via the Internet was more difficult than it should have been. I just wish this didn't make me feel so damn pathetic.

Oh, and those of you who used to read me way back in the day might be interested in knowing that I finally had to throw Joey Absopure out earlier this week. Seriously, the bottle was getting to be so yellow at the bottom it was nearly brown. I held onto him as long as I could, but it just got to the point where I couldn't help but worry how much I could have been messing myself up by continuing to drink from that bottle, no matter how often I washed it.

It is reasonable to request a refund for the time that you were without internet service, but depending on what you pay it really won't add up to much.
