Well, it's officially summer now, and we're not going to get into the 80s temperature-wise here for several days. Not that I mind; I prefer cooler temperatures like this. It's just that I don't want to go back to Wildwood until I can get new shoes, and now it turns out I have to get a new cell phone by Friday. And it's not that I don't have the money to get both, but I'm kind of hoping that with what I've been saving up recently, and the stipend I'll be getting from UT next year, that by the time I'm done with my Masters work, I'll have enough cash to put a downpayment on a nice house, and won't get stuck in the apartment trap.
Oh, and I think I will have a Backwash column later this week, but right now I've just got more important fish to fry. Or whatever a vegetarian equivalent of that phrase would be. You know what I mean.
