I forgot to mention this when it happened, but I did buy a hard pad from Cobalt Flux late on Friday. It's going to set me back about $350 if you count shipping, but it comes with a six month warranty, and considering I've gone through two $100 pads in the past four months, at the very least I should break even on the deal.
And in all seriousness, I have nothing bad to say about the RedOctane Ignition pads; I just think there's something in the way I play that makes the pads not work so well for me. (And I don't just mean that it's because my ass is so fat.)
